	I. INTRODUCTION
 A fluid applied roof membrane minimum three (3) coat 
system that is applied over exterior grade tongue and groove plywood. When 
applied over concrete, it makes an excellent seamless flooring system.
II. DESCRIPTION
 Hydro-Glass Deck and Wall System consists of:
    - A. HYDRO-SEAL 75 (Waterproof Underlayment)- a two (2) component, 
    water-soluble, heavy bodied epoxy resin formulation
 
    - B. Chopped fiberglass 
 
    - C. NI-21 100% Epoxy - solid, clear, two component epoxy resin

VII. APPLICATION
    - A. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION: Provide all potential substrate surface 
    preparation prior to application of the Hydro-Glass Deck and Wall System. 
    Thoroughly inspect and perform repair of all substrate cracks and 
    construction joints utilizing manufacturers recommended materials.
   
        - 1. Plywood - Tongue and Groove
     
            - a) Seal seams: use Epoxy Mortar System: Hydro-Seal 75 and 
            Portland Cement
            
                - (1) Materials:
                
                
                    - (a) Hydro-Seal 75
 
                    - (b) Portland Cement
 
                    - (c) Northern 4 1/4 " Fiberglass Tape
 
 
          
                - (2) Procedure
                
                    - (a) Mix Ratio: 1 part mixed Hydro-Seal 75 to 2 parts 
                    Portland Cement
 
                    - (b) Mortar joints, edges and the at perimeter with Epoxy 
                    Mortar System
 
                    - (c) Lay fiberglass tape into mortared areas (joints, 
                    edges and at perimeter), as flashing, to avoid water 
                    intrusion.
 
                
 
 
 
        - 2. Concrete: should fully cured, clean, free of paint, oils, 
        silicones, hardeners or other foreign materials. See Appendix A
 
    B. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
   
        - 1. Tools:
        
        
            - a) 3/8" or 1/2" nap roller
 
            - b) notched 1/8"squeegee
 
            - c) fiberglass chopping gun
 
         
 
        - 2. Procedure
        
               - a) Apply prime coat
               
               - (1) Apply Hydro-Seal 75 using a 3/8" or 1/2" nap roller.
 
                - (2) Drying Time: until surface is dry to touch
 
                
 
         
            - b) Apply body coat
            
                - (1) Apply NI-21 100% Epoxy using notched 1/8" squeegee
 
                - (2) Introduce fiberglass into epoxy with recommended chop 
                gun.
 
                - (3) Back-roll to set glass into wet epoxy.
 
                - (4) Drying Time: until surface is dry to touch
 
             
 
            - c) Apply Top Coat
            
                - (1) Apply NI-21 100% Epoxy (pigmented) over system as finish 
                coat with short 3/8" or 1/2" nap roller.
 
                - (2) Drying Time: until surface is dry to touch
 
 
 
 
              
VIII. Packaging
    - A. Hydro-Seal 75 Waterproof Underlayment:10 gallon kit
    
        - 1. 5 gallons: component A hardener & 
 
        - 5 gallons of component B base
 
     
 
    - B. NI-21 100% Epoxy kits packaged in kit form: 
    9-gallon kit; 15-gallon kit; 55-gallon drums.:
   
        - 1. two parts resin
 
        - 2. one part curing agent.
 
       
IX. STORAGE
    - A. NI-21 100% and Hydro-Seal 75
        - 1. Factory sealed container shelf life is 6 months for the unmixed 
        materials.
 
        - 2. Always rotate inventory using oldest materials first.
 
        
 
        
Appendix A
Concrete: fully cured, clean, free of paint, oils, silicones, hardeners or 
other foreign materials.
I. New
    - A. Should be at least 30 days cured, prior to application of seamless 
    flooring materials and free of sealers, curing compounds, oil, grease, 
    hydrostatic pressure and moisture transmission.
 
    - B. Should be light steel trowelled, 
    smooth and level.
 
II. Old: 
    - A. Must be clean, free of paint, stain or other foreign material that 
    would prevent proper hydration and bonding.
 
    - B. Patching and Leveling with a Epoxy Mortar on concrete: 
   
        - 1. Thickness
        
            - a) Over 1/4": Add fine sand to Epoxy Mortar System to eliminate 
            cracking.
           
           
                - (1) Mixing Ratio by volume: More sand is needed for thicker 
                applications. Up to a ratio of: 3 parts sand, 1 part cement, 1 
                part mixed Adhere 101 for 1/2 " to 3/4" patch.
 
 
  
                   - b) Under 1/4": Straight Epoxy Mortar System
                   
                - (1) Mixing Ratio by volume: Three (3) parts cement to one (1) 
                part mixed Adhere 101 Epoxy
 
 
 
        - 2. Tools ( and additional materials):
        
            - a) a straightedge trowel,
 
            - b) Portland Cement
 
            - c) fine sand if needed
 
            
 
         
        - 3. Procedure:
        
            - a) Fill and smooth all cracks with Mortar System as a scrape and 
            seal coat
 
            - b) Prepare rough, porous or contaminated surfaces that are 
            deteriorating by filling and repair them with the Epoxy Mortar 
            System.
 
            - c) Dry (1) hour at 70 degrees F and 50% humidity.
 
 
 
           
III. NI-DURA HYDRO-GLASS DECK AND WALL SYSTEM
    - A. DESCRIPTION
NI-DURA Hydro-Glass Deck and Wall System is comprised of:
  - A two component water soluble, solvent free 56% 
  solids epoxy resin prime coat.
 
  - A 100% solids clear, odorless (2) two component epoxy resin.
 
  - Fiberglass fiber.
 
  - A 100% solids pigmented epoxy finish coat.
 
This durable, waterproof, weather resistant seamless deck system can be 
applied to most sound substrates, including concrete, plywood, steel decking and 
etc.
 
    - B. USES

decks and walls requiring a tough easily maintained, seamless USDA approved 
system.

    E. COLORS
NI-DURA Hydro-Glass Deck and Wall System is 
presently manufactured in Gray and Tan, however, special colors are available 
through your Northern Industries representative.
    F. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
New Concrete must be cured a minimum of 28 days, free of sealers, curing 
compounds, oil, grease, hydrostatic pressure and moisture transmission. Old 
concrete or cement block must be clean; free of paint, stain or other foreign 
material that would prevent proper hydration and bonding. Refer to Northern 
Industries general preparation of sub-surfaces, 
installation manual page 7 through 14.
    G. INSTALLATION
  - Prepare and abrade substrate, removing all foreign materials.
 
  - Fill and smooth all cracks with two component water soluble, heavy-bodied 
  resin and Portland cement.
 
  - Lay fiberglass tape 3 inches width into prim coat, over all joints, edges 
  and at perimeter, as flashing, to avoid water intrusion.
 
  - Apply 100% solids, clear, two component epoxy resin using recommended chop 
  gun. Roll to set glass into epoxy. Allow drying.
 
  - Apply 100% solids, pigmented epoxy over system as finish coat with short 
  nap roller.
